Agrigento: Scala dei Turchi & Valle dei Templi

A rocky white cliff in the middle of a blue sea with natural steps shaped by the wind and water erosion for centuries: the sunlight reflects on the white wall, making it stunning and charming. And a wild valley full of ancient temples, columns and stones like an open air museum, amazing at sunset.

You can't skip these 2 stops into your Sicily tour, here you will catch the essence of the island: nature and history, the perfect duo that makes it unique.

Sicily Agrigento Scala dei Turchi

We have chosen to stay in Porto Empedocle, only 10 minutes away form both sites by car. The nearest beach to the Scala dei Turchi is Lido Rossello in Realmonte; once there, you will just have to walk for 10-15 minutes along the beach to reach the white wall. You can easily climb it by using the rocky steps and watch the deep blue sea from above, feeling a bit dizzy.

Sicily Agrigento Valle dei Templi

In the afternoon you can move to Agrigento and visit the amazing Valle dei Templi, one of the most beautiful archeological sites in Italy. We suggest the late afternoon visit till the sunset: this way you will avoid the morning hot temperature especially during summer days and you will have the chance to see the valley both with sun and moon light.

You will discover the two souls of the valley, colors game and change of perspective, light shades will make this place magical and timeless.

The valley will take you back to an ancient era among majestic hellenic temples and high columns and it will be one of the most remarkable experiences of your tour.
