Taormina, Savoca & Giardini Naxos
For the last stop of our Sicily round tour we have chosen to stay in Roccalumera, a small town on the coast with a long seafront and a cold crystal clear sea, only 20 minutes away from 3 places we suggest you to visit.
Taormina | This is a must-see beautiful and popular town, where you can live your dolce vita among its streets, visiting the greek ancient theatre and enjoying the view on Etna volcano from the main little square. Have dinner at Osteria da Rita with tables placed directly on the streets for an authentic Sicilian experience on a summer evening while listening to 'Te Godfather' soundtrack played by local musicians with hand-mades little flageolets.

Savoca | A small village made popular by Mr. Francis Ford Coppola who chose it as the set of some critical scenes of his masterpiece 'The Godfather'. Have a coffee at the Bar Vitelli, visit the church and the streets where the wedding of Michael and Apollonia were filmed and imagine being on that Oscar-winning set for a second.
Giardini Naxos | A long seafront, traditional pottery shops, colorful souvenirs to buy and a place where you can taste the best arancini of the island: pistachio, Norma, ham & cheese, bolognese sauce and salmon flavored ones, at Al Vicolo dei Capricci you'll be spoiled for choice.
